Volunteering at a charity shop is always a rewarding experience, but when it's for a cause as special as Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, the satisfaction is even greater. Recently, we had the privilege of lending a hand at their new charity shop, and it was an incredibly fulfilling journey from start to finish.
Forget Me Not Children's Hospice provides essential support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families. Their work is invaluable, and the charity shops play a crucial role in raising the funds needed to continue their services.
Concorde helped with organising the donated items, putting them into different boxes, and sorting through the clothes and accessories by type and size.
Volunteering at the new charity shop for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice was a great experience. It was a chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families. The sense of community among the volunteers was inspiring; everyone was dedicated and worked with enthusiasm and care.
The opening day was a resounding success and supporting Forget Me Not Children's Hospice through their launch was a wonderful way to give back.
As our chosen charity of the year, we will continue to contribute our time and efforts to support the charity throughout 2025.
